The Schapmann family fell in love with the Grand Floridian on one of their trips when the Grand Flo just happened to be the actively marketed property. Sam explains that they set their “point calibration” on a 2-bedroom villa over at Bay Lake Tower; however, on their first stay, they booked a 2-Bedroom Lake view at the Grand Floridian, and that changed everything. Sam explains DVC leads the family from Disney vacations every 4-5 years to taking an extended vacation for the entire family every year plus a few bonus trips for whoever can make the trip.
