Sam, his wife, and 3 daughters have been DVC blue card members under his parent's contract for several years. When Riviera Resort was completed, Sam and his wife knew they wanted to own there but wondered if the resale market would be right for them instead of buying directly from Disney. As big fans of Ratatouille, they loved the idea of being close to Epcot and even bought Riviera sight unseen! They had heard testimonials, watched content online, and heard enough to feel comfortable to purchase without ever having visited the resort.

Sam loved the idea of having a 50-year contract and was not at all worried about the resale restrictions. With his Bay Lake points available for use in the rest of the network, he was just fine with using his Riviera points only at Riviera. They bought their first 160 point contract at Riviera and before it even closed, add-on-itis hit, and Sam purchased his 2nd resale Riviera contract. Once the 2nd contract closed, Sam and his family took their first trip to stay at Riviera.

Not only does Sam take his immediate family to Disney, but he loves to take the extended family as well, which inspired him to purchase a third Riviera resale contract. In 2022, Sam and his wife are planning to bring her entire family and in order to accommodate 20 people, they needed more points! They will be renting two 2-bedroom villas to house the whole crew.

Sam is a huge fan of Disney T-shirts and the more obscure the better! Sam's favorite ride of all time was the retired Maelstrom ride in the Norway Pavillion which is now the Frozen ride. Sam has a Maelstrom T-shirt that even got him and his family a 2nd ride on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train without waiting in line. The cast member loved it and spread a little pixie dust on the family.
