On July 16th, Disney officially announced the permanent closure of Stitch’s Great Escape, Primeval Whirl, and Rivers of Light. Two of these attractions were already nearly closed before the whole COVID crisis, but Rivers of Light came as a surprise to many.
On July 17th, the planning and building committee of the city of Anaheim recommended approving the new DVC Tower at the Disneyland Hotel. The committee published a 1,605-page document detailing the resort.

Shannon Ford is back and has recruited Peter Scheidle to join this week's show. In this week's episode, they cover Splash Mountain retheming to Princess and the Frog, Be Our Guest is no longer open for breakfast, and they include the new park reservations system. Fifteen months of reservations all opened up at the same time, and guests had a challenging time booking their stays. Some DVC Members with reservations and annual passes also ran into a bug that limited them to three park days.
