Inventory has significantly decreased since Q2 of 2022. The last time we recorded the show, we had over 700 listings at DVC Resale Market, and there were 351 contracts for sale as of this recording time. At the current sales pace, this is about a week’s worth of inventory on the market. However, it must be noted that Disney Vacation Club has been buying up 43% of the contracts sold yearly. This is an unprecedented amount. Chad and Jodi speculated that this must mean people are either buying more points direct from Disney or Disney are buying back their own resorts to increase their direct rental business. DVC has been successfully renting Aulani rooms for cash and isn’t in a hurry to sell out that resort.
