Our Team's Shows About Boulder Ridge Villas
DVC Members love their home resorts for a variety of reasons. Chad, Valerie, Brad, and Sandy are back to discuss the three main factors people use when picking their home resort. Some people buy them because they love the resort. Others buy specifically for the 11-month booking window advantage. Yet other members are more influenced by the financial, economic, and deed expiration dates. We believe every resort is unique, and there's something for everyone to love in DVC. Join the conversation as we discuss these three factors across all of the DVC resorts.
Join the conversation as we review Disney's Wilderness Lodge from DVC member perspectives. We're discussing the resort offerings, and then at the end, we'll ask you to choose one for your next vacation. Are you Team Copper Creek or Team Boulder Ridge? Once we convince you to stay here, we'll ask you to vote in our interactive poll, are you Team Copper Creek or Team Boulder Ridge? If you were buying at Wilderness Lodge, which contract would you pick?
004 History of Disney's Copper Creek Cabins & Villas at Wilderness Lodge With Disney Historian Jim Korkis – Part 1
In Episode 004 we are introducing a new episode format. Most shows are DVC member interviews. However, today’s show is the first of a regularly recurring segment called “meet the magic maker.” We talk with former Disney cast members and industry insiders who can share inside knowledge, information, and experiences directly related to our Disney vacations. In these interviews, I seek out people who in some way left their fingerprints in the parks and resorts. I’m pleased to share a conversation with legendary Disney historian Jim Korkis about the history and back stories at one of my home resorts: Wilderness Lodge. Jim is a former cast member at Disney in numerous roles. At one time, Jim lead tour groups for Disney at Wilderness Lodge. In part one, Jim covers the history of the resort from the original concept of Cypress Point Lodge to what became Wilderness Lodge.
