We just passed ROFR on our new CCV contract!!
I have researched this for over a year, went through numbers, benefits of direct vs resale, kept my eyes on all the contracts, and listened to ALL the podcasts that I could get my hands on before finally putting in a contract on THE resort that we had fallen in love with this past Christmas.
Thanks specifically to this community and Podcast as well as Andy Berry at DVC Resale Market for helping me through the process and finally be able to call CCV home 😍
When I purchased my first DVC contract, it was a resale contract through Andy Berry. Andy is always prompt to respond and had all the answers to my newbie DVC questions. He is so kind and warm to work with I was sad when the transaction closed because I would miss speaking with him! Andy made sure my first purchase was smooth sailing and even remembered my favorite Disney character! I have already contacted Andy again about plans to make another resale purchase as I know Andy is on my side.
Andy was amazing. Big Thanks! We had been dreaming of becoming DVC members for years but never seemed to be the right time, until we got in touch with DVC Resale Market, and specifically with Andy. He took us through the whole process, step by step, and with the assistance of the rest of their staff, we are happy to say that we are now DVC members. We are ready to start making those memories. Thank you, Andy… you’ve got a friend in me too! 🙂

Andy Berry joins the show to review September 2021. In all but 3 resorts, we had a slight decrease in average sales price. Disney has been more aggressive in exercising its right of first refusal on contracts. 80 contracts were bought back during September (which is more than the last three months combined). We saw huge spikes in Animal Kingdom, Saratoga Springs, and Old Key West. At the time of recording, we saw 400 active contracts on the market.
We’re celebrating Father’s Day 2021 by talking with some of the children from DVC Resale Market and some members of the My DVC Points community about their favorite memories with their dads. You’ll get to know Andy Berry, Nick Cotton, and Scott Kaufman a little better after hearing about their kid’s favorite memories with their dads. John Saccheri from BigFatPanda.com also shares a story about falling in love with Haunted Mansion. Eric Mobley and Tim McDonald also share some heart-touching stories about time with their fathers. Tune in to episode 157.
