Two Choices for Paying DVC Dues with Credit Cards:

  1. Pay the entire year of dues in full at once, and DVC will take a credit card. It's simple and easy. We recommend a Chase Sapphire Reserve for 3x the direct dues payment, 3x on Chase Ink Business Preferred, or 2x on a Chase Sapphire Preferred. (We recommend Chase because they have a very liberal definition of travel. Chase considers DVC dues, DVC Loan Payments, and DVC Purchases as Travel).
  2. Set up the automated ACH drafts from your checking account but purchase gift cards with your credit card and apply the gift cards towards your dues. This strategy works well as long as you stay ahead of the drafts. You need to pay at least $1 over your dues payment with gift cards for the payment to skip that month's automatic draft.
    • Bonus Pro Tips
    • Chase Ink Cash cards earn 5x at office supply stores, and most of them sell Disney Gift Cards.
    • Target Red or Target Circle cards earn 5% off purchases – including Disney Gift cards.
    • Meijer regularly runs mPerk promotions where you can get 5000 mPerk points for every $50 gift card you purchase. If you purchase the maximum amount allowed of $500 per card, you will earn 50,000 mPerk points redeemable for $50 in free groceries or 5 $1 off per gallon discounts. If you maximize the gas coupon and buy 30 gallons to fill up one or more cars, the 50k of mPerks can yield a maximum of $150 in free gasoline.
  3. By maximizing your points and miles from credit card purchases, you may even get free flights to Disney parks.
