The theming at Animal Kingdom Jambo House is some of the best in the Disney Vacation Club network. If you’re looking for a DVC golden gem, book a club-level concierge room at AKV Jambo House. You can’t beat the unlimited snacks that come with this kind of room. To make the most of your DVC points, look for that value studio at the 11-month mark. A standard view has its perks as well, especially if you enjoy overlooking the beautiful pool at AKV Jambo House. You may even get lucky and get a partial savanna view. For many AKV Jambo House lovers, there’s nothing better than booking that savanna view. You can sit on your balcony sipping coffee and taking in the view of an actual giraffe.
The studio rooms at AKV Jambo House offer you a conventional DVC studio room with a queen bed and a sofa bed. The 1-bedroom DVC room offers a queen bed and a sofa bed and has the unusual perk of a bathroom that’s exterior to the bedroom. If you’re sharing your DVC room with others, not having to pass through the master bedroom to get to the bathroom is a rare treat. There are no dedicated 2-bedroom DVC rooms at AKV Jambo House because they’re all lock-off rooms, meaning they’re a studio room and a 1-bedroom connected by a door. AKV Jambo House Grand Villa has the major benefit of being all on one level. This is great for accessibility and for DVC guests of all ages. You can really entertain in the AKV Jambo House Grand Villa.
Animal Kingdom Jambo House is a Disney Vacation Club point penny pincher’s dream. At the value room’s low of 8 points per night, this is one of the best DVC bang-for-your-buck rooms you can find. AKV Jambo House is also a DVC point big-spenders dream if you want to go for that club-level concierge experience. Both room types are some of the highest in-demand DVC rooms. If you need something in between, the standard view rooms compare well to other DVC rooms that are of good value. You can stretch your DVC points, you can splurge your DVC points, or you can land in the middle with your DVC points at AKV Jambo House.
Let’s get to booking tips. The Animal Kingdom Jambo House value rooms and club-level concierge rooms are some of the hardest to get in all of Disney Vacation Club because there are so few of them. Many members choose to walk their reservations to get these rooms. Don’t snooze on these DVC rooms because there are only 5 club-level studios and 5 club-level 1-bedrooms at AKV Jambo house. The standard view rooms at AKV Jambo House are the next room type to book up quickly, and savanna view rooms go last. AKV Jambo House is not as large as other DVC resorts so if you really love AKV Jambo House, you do need to own points here to get the most premium DVC rooms.
This resort is huge. For your DVC room request at Animal Kingdom Jambo House, ask for a room close to the lobby. If you end up on the ends of the resort’s horseshoe shape, it can be a long walk back to your DVC room after a day of park hopping. If you have a savanna view DVC room, make sure you check out the different savannas at AKV Jambo House. Each has unique animals because not all the animals get along well. If you want giraffes, try the Sunset Savanna or the Arusha Savanna. If you want a quieter environment, try the Uzima Savanna.
